About me

I am a weather and climate analyst specializing in atmospheric variability and its practical implications. I analyze weather and climate (forecast) signals on various timescales to support risk-aware planning in weather-sensitive sectors (e.g. energy). Currently, I work at Gen-I (Slovenia) as analyst in energy trading, specialised in weather.

Before leaving academia my research focused on climate dynamics, e.g., ocean-atmosphere interaction, stratosphere-troposphere interactions, storm track dynamics, wave-mean flow interactions, (regional) climate variability and change, as well as their societal impacts and potential for long-term predicability. My research interests also included asymptotic methods, model hierarchies, teleconnection patterns, and interdisciplinary studies. I was also active in communicating climate change in Slovenia (as part of projects RESCCCUE & Podnebnik: Website, @Twitter, @Medium).
